We really enjoyed the grounds. The gardens were well cared for. Dinner at Hermione's was delicious. I thought the rooms were comfy and also beautifully decorated. I appreciated the fast WiFi.
I found that one restaurant had limited availability because of events, so that complicated our dining plans a little.

I got engaged in the rose garden. It was magical. the staff were really nice too.. they were so great. we enjoyed lunch at the golf club, and the menu options were diverse. every dish was prepared to perfection.
there was a wedding , the castle was off limits for regular guests one night, disappointing. another restaurant was booked, and the fine dining option was also fully reserved due to limited availability elsewhere. it felt as though regular guests were secondary to these events.
